had a few questions on a worst case senario bases. if i get this truck i already noticed the transfer case was a little wet. was wonder how hard/much it would cost to rebuild the transfer case my self (parts wise and how long average for labor). also was wondering god forbid the trans blows how much for a new trans or to just rebuild the trans not including labor. just parts. thanks

Transfer cases are easy to rebuild only a couple hours work once it's out. Haven't messed with the newer ones but can usually rebuild them for about $200 - $400 depending on what it needs.

4R100 tranny, $1500 - $2000 for a stock rebuild, $3000 and up for heavily modded trannies........ not including labor to R&R

I would agree.
Transfer cases are a walk in the park.
Usually, when they leak, they just need the case resealed, which is even more of a breeze

That's because we KNOW ours is bigger, we know how to use it and have nothing to prove:sly ..... BTW Nothing like spanking a ricer with an 8000 dually and nothing funnier than lining his drivers window up with the tail pipe when he's sitting at the red light with a window down going BOOM BOOM BOOM...... Got Smoke:lmao

Try drivetrain.com discount automotive and truck parts can find almost anything for any car or truck here.

No..... If you ship your trans you are paying $3200, if you don't ship your trans you pay $4200. The $1000 is what you will be charged for your transmission core if they don't get it. There ain't nothing cheap on these trucks.

For that kind of price you are better off getting a bulletproof BTS tranny from Brian.
