Hello All,
First let me apologize as I am sure this question has been asked several times over already.
I just became the proud new owner of a 2000 F350 4x4 w/ 7.3 psd. Now for the question. When I am driving at a constant speed (doesn't matter what gear I'm in) I'm getting something that sounds like a really bad air leak. As soon as I either lift off and coast or get into it a bit it disappears. It has also done this a couple of times while idleing, when it did it at idle it also revved up to about 1300 rpm. A tap on the throttle and it settled down. Should also mention in the 2 weeks I have had the truck it seems (I think anyway) to be getting worse.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
