New to Forum - About to buy a new F250

Hi guys - new to forum - considering a new SD with the 6.4 - I've owned a number of Ford's (2 Excursions with the V10s), time to go Diesel I think - to pull the boat, etc. I'm an active member of similar boating forum and I learn a lot there. Stumbled on to this one and thought it might be a good place to get smarter before spending quite a bit of money.
Thanks for having me. If things go the way I'm expecting I'll actually be an owner before to long.

v10....ouch.... you must own shares in the gas companies! anyway, I am fairly confident you will love a diesel for towing. The 6.4 is being improved upon everyday, ford is still trying to figure out how to balance the fuel mileage with achieving emissions standards. I have heard that the first 08s were getting 10-12 mpg, but a recent test I saw of an 09 was closer to 18-19 mpg. good luck looking at trucks and welcome to sdd!
