Hello Fellow Super Duty members,

I have a F250 4x4 King Ranch LB and I now have 19K miles. I full time on the road pulling a 39' 5th wheel trailer. I joined your forum to find out more about the 6.4L Power Stroke Diesel and what folks have done to improve their gas mileage and performance. At 60mph flat roads with air-conditioning, I average 10mpg. Without the trailer on flat roads driving 70mph I get 14.5mpg. I love the truck but disappointed with the performance.

Welcome to SSD.com. What kind of a RV do you have that's 39 foot long, and what is it's weight?
Sounds like you may have the F-250 over loaded.
Hope you come back often, we are a RV friendly site.
There are a lots of us who pull RV trailer.

Thanks for the warm welcome

I pull a 2008 Summit Ridge Reserve RSV38RL by Ameri-Camp. The unit grosses just under 16K lbs fully loaded. The truck pulls it great and between the transmission and the built in break assist set at 8.0 I have no problem stopping.
