I hear ya!!! Looks like gas is starting to get as expensive as diesel (at least in the DFW area). I saw a couple of stations yesterday that had premium at the same price as, or a few cents higher than, diesel.

If Europe can figure out the benefit of small diesels, why the heck has it taken so long here? Our own companies are selling diesels all over the world except here. How blind can they be?

Hopefully the demand for diesel won't rise so high the we pay $5.75 a gallon for diesel like they do.:eek:

hmm lets see
out of my long navy career i seem to recall the taxis in the other LANDS, mostly being diesels, maybe they were practicing.....
sort of like gm and ford in Brazil with flex fuel ethanol engines.
they think we would never accept it here. big oil probalby scares em to much, when big oil should be leading the pack on alternate fuels and engines,

but brazil grows almost all of the fuel they need....

i see the sec. of the interior is about to be vacant, send your cards and letters to the big guy,
