New F250 2005 owner to be :)

Hi guys. Just saying hi. Long time lurker but now in market for f250 with 6.0
Hopefully purchasing my buddies 6.0 , which already took a drap. New engine. It's lifted crew cab 4x4 king ranch. Any advice or suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

What's the miles, and is he one to change the oils and filters as needed? Has the heads been done on it yet? What year 6.0 is it?
Post up a picture if you like. Lots of people talk bad about the 6.0 not being a good engine, but Ford sold more 6.0's than Dodge
and D-Max together. Good luck, I would rather buy one from someone I knew that took good care of it.

Talking bad about one manufacture over the other has been going on for ever. Kids play. All trucks have problems at one time or another. Most can be corrected with knowledge of the problems and a good auto parts guy. I have had no unusual problems with my truck, but I take care of it regularly.
