New equipment to test HEUI injectors?

Has anyone heard about a new tool Ford has released to check the fuel chamber or high pressure port(?) on a HEUI injector? I have someone 6 states away trying to sell a friend an injector he has deemed defective by using this "new tool". I have never heard of such a tool and I'm pretty sure he is blowing smoke up our . Anyone have any news I haven't heard?

there is testing equipment for heui injectors available to the public from alliant, it costs more than any DIY guy could afford, and even most injection shops dont have the stuff to do it.

I know about flow testers and things of that nature, but you're right, they are pretty expensive. This is supposed to be a small set up. Like a hand tool of sorts.

a hand tool that creates 3000psi one side and 60 on the other?!?!?!

i would inquire a little further as to what this guy is using to condem the injector. also, if he says its bad, why go any further with the sale? are you in the market for a bad injector?
