Hello all!
First off, I am a diesel idiot! LOL! I will be purchasing a new diesel within the next year.
I have been lurking on forums for all three manufacturers, GM, Dodge and now Ford. It's hard to sift through the rhetoric of brand loyalty to get the true facts. Everyone says things like "Dodge has a great engine surrounded by a crappy truck." or "Ford's powerstroke self-destructs" or "GM's fall apart" and so on...
I have a Nissan Titan, and have taken a lot of flack, although it's a fantastic 1/2 ton. But it's just that, a 1/2 ton.
To cut to the chase, is the powerstroke that much of a problem? There are a TON of powerstrokes out on the road.
Thanks!
