I have an 06 F250 fx4 4wd no lift kit with the 17in rims. I need tires bad and I mean bad. I only tow my 20' enclosed with a car in it about 10 times a year. Stock was 265/70 17r I want to go up to the 285/70/17R BFG A/T, Toyo A/T , Nitto Terra Grappler or 295/70/17in Toyo M/T. My concern is how the Toyo M/T will work in the snow and on Ice. Please tell me you experience/knowledge of each of my choices. Will al D range work or do I have to stay in an E range. If you have another suggestion let me know.

Can't help ya with the snow & ice part.....but Toyo makes a great tire, I had some Toyo A/T on my F250, and loved 'em. Stay with load range "E" tires, your truck weight alone will almost tax the "D" tires. The "E" tire will also last longer due the higher ply rating, and give you more stability.:sweet
