While over in Glen Rose Texas we took a tour of the commance peak nuke plant....WOW WOW WOW
well at least the visitors center, and a simulator room.
You have to call for a tour, but it was well worth the 1hr
took a pic of mrs boatr in a smurf suit HEHEHEHEHEE

then we stayed at an RV park with almost ZERO shade treeeeeeees

Bro, I sure hope you had good 50A. to run both of them 15000. It has been real hot here also.

nuke plants are some of the real technological wonders that man has created. When you start looking at all of the safety in place and realize that we are operating most of our plants on technology that is 50 years old. We may have changed the sensors and controls to newer technology but the same procedure is taking place.

I can say that it gets more amazing when you're able to see the real thing in operation. I was able to tour a now decomissioned and demolished reactor at Ga Tech & the 10MW reactor at Oak Ridge. Even participated in training drills at Oak Ridge.

That nuclear plant looks awesome! Have you visited the Dinosaur Valley State Park?? We used to go there often when I was a kid and LOVED it! I grew up in Mineral Wells so it was close enough to go a few times a year. Glad y'all are having fun!
