these are from the TITANIC exhibit in orlando and the ripleys believe or not in orlando.and an upside down building sitting on top of another building.

the titanic exhibit was pretty cool.they had an actual deck chair from the titanic amongst other pieces and stuff.in one part they had what looked like an iceberg in the room.the tour guide had us put our arms on it to see what it felt like to be in the water when the ship sank,man that thing was COLD!!!!i thought it was a plastic iceberg but it was a real chunk of ice!they also had a replica of the grand staircase with the glass dome and all.you will see the dome in one of the pictures.the model of it as it sits in the ocean was sweet!was it worth the $60.00 for me the wife and kid to see?ya and no.it was worth it to see the stuff they have there and no cause i figured they wouldve had some more artifacts,pictures and stories.the gift shop had an actual 2nd class dinner plate that was recovered from th wreck,it was for sale at the cost of $900.00 and yes,if i had the 900 bux it wouldve come home with me they also had some parts of the ship that you can buy among other stuff.we ended up buying a couple of glasses.

the ripleys place was ok.as you look at the building it looks like it sank into the ground.according to the sign out front it did.but its wierd as you walk into it cause the building is at an angle but the floors were level .there was some cool stuff in there as well.one of the first things you see is a hologram of ripley himself at his desk.the hologram actually turns on the light,spins the blobe and a few other col things.then there is this mirror with a video about folding and rolling your tongue(pay attention as you will find out why in a few).it shows the wierd lookin dude that looks like hes sucking his face into his mouth or something.it then says to try folding/rolling your tongue while looking into the mirror.well the wife was trying to do it.i didnt bother cuz i had a funny feeling that something was up with that mirror.as we were walking through we seen all kinds of cool stuff.there was a HUGE tire,i mean this thing was taller than me.we got a picture of JR. in it and ya that is my ugly mug standing next to the tire ,in the same room was a huge chair and some tiny chairs.then in another room there was a pool table,the floor was all screwed up in this room.well you take the pool ball and put it on the table to watch it roll uphill.at the end there was this window in a room where you could see people looking into it but they didnt know you were there looking at them.well it was that mirror so you got to see the people trying to roll there tongues! the wife was like OMG!!

and here is the upside down building.that was pretty cool as well.

i didnt get to see an orange tree but i did see and touch a real live palm tree.i didnt get to do alot of exploring but if i make it for the june trip we will be there for 2 weeks so ill get to explore then and hopefully buy my titanic plate for 900 bux!we went to some gift shops,they actually have mini palm trees that grow to about 5 feet tall.i wanted to get one but didnt.the highway we had to take to get to the titanic and ripleys places was right next to the orlando airport.man the back wash from a plane that was landing shook the hell outta the truck and freaked the wife out.she was like WTF!i bought 2 bumper stickers from the gift shop.1 says "Yes its my truck and no i wont help you move", as the reason we went was to help the wifes sister move.that sticker is on the sisters fridge .the other says "welcome to america,now speak english" the wife wouldnt let me put it on the truck while we were down there -mad

all in all it was a good time although i didnt do much but there is always june,but ill probably be spending most of my time in the truck with AC on then.

the ride home was uneventful.no bad wheather,cruised between 60-75MPH the whole time,no traffic.we used somewhere around 600.00 in fuel the whole week.250 on the way down and still had 1 1/2 tanks when we got there,ran around all week on 1 tank and used around 300.00 in fuel on the trip home.havent added it all up yet.it was 1340 miles from florida where i fueled up to my driveway.i usually get about 200 miles to a tank around town.i was averageing around 230 miles a tank on the highway.fuel mileage came out to around 17-18MPG.we would run the front tank first cuz it leaks,then switch to the rear tank when we got down to 1/4 tank in the front.then we would fill up between 1/4-1/2 tank in the rear.we made 5 fuel stops on the trip down.and i think we made 5 on the way homemight have been 6.i went through some of PA.,new york,newjersey,connecticut,rhode island and mass on 1 1/2 tanks of fuel.i still have 1/2 a tank left.didnt use a drop of oil.even though the truck isnt running right it did pretty damn good on this trip!!im proud to own a ford diesel!!!

oh and yes my dog attacked us with that mile long tongue of hers!!

oh ya and in the florida mall they have a store full of nothing but M&Ms!!every possible color you can think of,toys,clothes,cups you name it it was M&Ms!!! you could buy 4 pounds of M&Ms for $30.00

the florida mall is cool rich, i ate about 5 lbs of M & M's on the way home last summer.

the orange blossom trail that the mall is off, is not a place to hang out at night tho. i have been down there before on a trip about 2 years ago, delivering cars. a white boy aint got no business on the OBT at night.

i got my self outta there.

no big rat pictures .that trip is in june.this trip was to help the sister in law move.plus i wanted to check the place out when it isnt so hot down there.
