Just wait until you start seeing the airplane you love in pictures like this:

I fixed B-52's for 3 years before flying on them for 13 years followed by 3 years in a B-52 base command post. Believe me, when you see that huge chopping blade get dropped on some P-3's, you're gonna start to cry.

BTDT.. I wrode our last P-3B to the Bone Yard.. Navy Det gave us a behind the scenes tour and we watched the big blade being dropped on the B-52.. got to crawl through one before the dirty deed..

I worked "O" level maintenance, Electronics on the P-3A & B ("B" was the best made..) then was maintenance dept staff on the P-3C.. Flew all over the US & Atlantic on the "B" as part of a maintenance det.. have some great stories..
