My Dad is in a bad way.

My father complained of some vision problems the other day, they have grown steadily worse. I took him to the doctor today as his vision has suddenly become so bad he cannot see well enough to drive. The eye surgeon says there is internal bleeding in the eye. Normally it can be corrected by laser surgery, but it is so extensive they will have to physically open it up. They MAY be able to correct it, but it's a crapshoot. In the meantime, he is going blind by the day. His other eye is damaged by macular degeneration. Dad is very depressed right now and it's all I can do being Mr. Mom to a pair of teenagers. At least he lives right next door so I can look in on him. I can use all of the intercessionary prayer you folks can provide. Thanks.

Sorry to hear about your dad Ray. You are very lucky to still have him. I lost my dad when I was only 30 years old. I will go ahead and talk to the Lord about your dad tonight.
I have been told that we have some of the best eye doctors in the world right here in Little Rock at the Jones eye institute. Old Harvey Jones who started and owed Jones Truck Lines for many years left them about 5 million to build it many years ago.
