At take off my motor is cutting out causing a bad shake. This would be above average take off. That is until it gets to about 1800 rpm and then it smooths out. I have no codes and I've got 58lbs. fuel pressure at idol and it drops about 2lbs. on take off. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Your fuel pressure drops to 2 lbs.???? That is definitely your problem. Probably time for a new pump.

Maybe I didn't explain it very clear. It drops 2lbs. down to 56lbs. If you get on it hard enough it will drop to 54lbs. I didn't know if this was common or not.

You may want to check the valve cover connections & the UVCH's ,make sure they are connected & not burned ....

hey thanks for the input. i have been getting a code (1396) that says there is a issue with the left glow plug bank and noticed a fuse blown in the box near the battery. maybe there is a problem on that side that is shorting other things out as well. visually those plugs look ok but i will pull off the cover to see. since the engine started running rough a code came up (1316) that has to do with injectors and the (idm). not sure why.

Under Valve Cover Harness. Look at each valve cover on the inboard side, there is a connector that sometimes comes loose or the wiring will get burnt. Make sure that the connectors are fully seated and ensure there is no wire damage. The UVCH runs to the injectors and glow plugs located under the valve covers.
