I always knew that the F150 was good for something :lmao :lmao :lmao

I did tow the boat 200 miles last weekend with the F150 as I don't like to leave Crummy unattended at the landing overnight. If something happens to it they make more F150's everyday but Crummy is one of a kind ;) There was a quite a bit of slick road between here and there and at times I was not sure who was the leader - the truck or the boat :watchout Next time Crummy will be making the trip and the F150 will stay home to entertain the Moose :sly The F150 also got a whoppin 9mpg on the trip  Does a OK job of towing in the summer but not enough iron for winter towing.

TG-
that made the news down here. its really sad no matter whose side is accurate.

In a city counsel meeting last night, the chief of police explained in front of a packed room of angry residents, the course of events that led to putting the moose down. By most accounts, after hearing the police chief's remarks, most of the residents had a change of mind and now feel the chief acted appropriately and the camera happy people chasing the moose around town just made the situation worse.

Have they never seen a Moose in Michigan before? Around here most people don't even pay any attention to them. Leave them alone and they will leave you alone.

Authorities say she was a threat to the public.
Once she stomped them into the ground they would learn to leave her alone. People are smart that way :)

Here is a little Bull behind our back fence this fall. Gets more interesting when they are inside the fence ;)

Moose were once plentiful here in da U.P.

But back in the late 1800's and early 1900's, moose were hunted to extinction by lumber and mining companies for free meat.

In late 1980's the moose was re-introduced into da U.P. when a number of animals were live captured and moved here from Canada. In the last 25 or so years they have multiplied and spread out in area. But even so, seeing one is a rare event.
