Is there a way to hook up standard A/V cables to a computer monitor? I have a old flat screen monitor that has a standard computer cable with the multi pin monitor plug and the kids want to use it for there Playstation. Is there a adapter that hook the A/V(Yellow, white and red plugs) to a computer monitor screen?

Well I guess I do just need to connect the yellow to it as it doesn't have speakers  The monitor says "ViewSonic VE155" Model # VLCDS23585-1W. As far as HD, VGA or SVGA I have no clue..

So it is more than a adapter. I didn't realize they had different signals. Looking on ebay and other places it looks like they are $100+. Now I need to figure out if the Monitor I have is worth it or if I should just buy a TV..

yeah the second one you can run an fm transmitter off of it so you can run sound through a radio and if ya wanted to put it in the truck it'll run off of dc current but you'd still have to inverter the other two items so oh well
