I'm looking to see who else here in the community subscribes to Sprint Mobile Broadband or Verizon Wireless Internet as a supplemental or primary source of internet access for their laptops when out and about.

We're shopping the providers and looking to see what other current users have feedback wise:thanks

I have verizon. I do have access anywhere that I have cell phone access, but the downside is that, even though it is Broadband, it is not especially fast. Of course, I also have Hyper fast Cable with 5 meg downloads, so, I might be jaded.

the place i work for gave all of the upper management personel sprint after trying verizon for a month and they are all LOVING it. the verizon was horrible. the service was better with the sprint, and they say its MUCH faster. I'm from CT though, so you really need to find opinions from people in your area.

fwiw i have a blackberry (8700)...works pretty well for
picking up all my email (can read/view attachments) and
the speed isnt TOO bad (better than the old blackberrys
and WAY better than any cell phone that friends TRY and
use)

unlimited data for 19 bucks per month.

I when i need a laptop or big key board i can (and do) connect
my blackberry to my laptop and the laptop connects to the bb
like a modem...data rates run as high as 192k (not as fast as
a home cable modem).

It works well....its not what id wanna use to surf all the time
but when i have the time, cant find a FREE wireless connection
or i absolutely need to connect it works quite will.

We have been using a Sprint card in a laptop to provide internet access for 6 to 8 of us in our new office until the slow-pokes at ATT&T can get us connected. We get pretty good speed and also have it configured to let VPN out I get VPN into the office so I can work on our databases remotely. I have no idea what it has costs but it sure was handy for these past 4 weeks.

Hey John, yeah Sprint's service has been flawless compared to AT&T lately.

For business accounts it $79 a month and for personal users it's $59 a month:sweet
