I found two different 2006 f250's both trucks have around 120,000 miles both are Lariat FX4 trucks 4x4 solid black with tan interior. One is a private seller the other is on a car lot. Both trucks are priced around twenty thousand both trucks seem to be completely stock. Neither truck has had a fifth wheel or ball for a gooseneck in the bed. I went to the local ford dealer and had them run an oasis report on both trucks one had three items to show up speedometer not working,replace injector pump fitting and bracket and replace injectors. The other truck had two items. Replaced high pressure pump connection and replaced right bank D ring. Neither truck had any problems with the EGR system which I guess is a good thing. So what I guess I'm getting at is does the prices seem to be about right for this year and for mileage. Any other suggestions on what to look for it these trucks would be appreciated.

You need service records. oil change, fuel filters,trans filters and trans oil change, coolent changed, rear ends. These are things that you will have to do and if someone has not been on top of this it may cost you some big bucks. Mine is an 06 and i got it with 17,000 miles and the turbo had been replaced but i also took out warranty for 6 years because i pull a 5er. Hope this helps

Take the VIN to your local Ford dealer and have them run an Oasis Report on the truck. This will show all of the work that FORD has done to that truck. Warranty or not.
