methanol tank mounting ?

Anyone with the 99-03 7.3 and a methanol kit. Where did you mount the tank and pump?

is the tank in the back. don't you have to mount the tank close to the pump?

Nope, you can mount the tank anywhere you want... Some make there own tanks out of 6-8" pvc and a few caps... Mine is in the tool box.
