MBRP exhaust

hey guys, i am getting my MBRP exhaust tomorrow and will be installing it myself. i got it for $400 out the door. is this a good price? from what i found online, it seems to be a really good price. it's 4" turbo back single.

I paid about $375 for my MBRP exhaust from Dieselsite.com. Mine is the aluminized turbo back single outlet. I'd say $400 is a good price though. You'r gonna love the sound. Good luck with the install. The downpipe is the worst part. I removed my transmission cross member to get the original downpipe out in one piece. Other than that it was a piece of cake.

I used a sawzall and cut it right at the bend broke it apart at the flange (cat). (mine didnt have one) and muffler and tail pipe in one piece, but i also have a lift that made it easy Ive done 2 like that.

would there be any reason to salvage my old exhaust?

I just put the same thing on my truck about two weeks ago and love it athough if you are looking for noise you might want to check out the muffler delete pipe they offer. my muffler last a week before i took it off, way way way to quiet but thats about the going rate of that system.

No. It's not the same one I got. That looks like the installer series. I got the pro series that comes with a tip. That one on eBay doesn't have a tip.

Looks good Clint and thank you for posting pictures. Did you notice an increase in performance or mpg?

I didn't really have the truck long enough to notice a difference. It sounds nice though. Not too loud but still makes some noise when you get on it. I can hear the turbo spool up a little more too.
