in my 95 F350 i have the monsterbox E4OD.when i get on thehighway with my chip in the nasty extreme, the luke cline/twildman extreme :thumbs .i know im not supposed to run that program on the street but i like it to much not to.anyways when getting on the highway i feel a shaking/shuddering when i get in the speed lane and drop the hammer.when running around the city if i am hammering on itit will do it when the converter locks.but for it to do it i have to let off the throttle fast right asthe converter locks.when it does it it shakes the truck enough to pop stuff off of the dash.it doesnt do it in any of the other 5 chip settings, unless it is doing it and i cant feel it.i dont do alot of burnouts with it.i do do the occasional"look what my diesel can do that your gasser cant" burnouts at a light.and i do the warming tires burnout on the track.it didnt do this before.it started doing it a few weeks ago.im running the amsoil powershift synthetic fluid, the tranny cooler that diesel site supplied with it and a good sized stacked plate cooler thats behind the cutout in the bumper with a fan on it.it shifts fine while driving normal and lightly hammering on it.

should i call bob@dieselsite and tell him im having a problem and taking it to a tranny shop?the thought of somebody else touching my truck freaks me out but i dont know enough about trannys to tell what the issue is.

Sounds a little like clutch issues? Shuddering and chattering. What does your temp guage indicate?

temp gauge is down below 140 in the winter.during the summer though it can and will climb up over 240,hence the reason for the second cooler and fan.

240?! WOW thats hot. Mine never made it over 200 when I was towing my trailer home from New Orleans. We were at 23,000lbs, and for the most part, I was at 180 in 100 degree midwest heat.

Only time it got super hot, was the screw up I made going over the grand tetons with that load! I dropped to 2wd low range and tranny stayed cool.

But I agree, sounds like clutch slip in the tranny.
