I was just offered for free a working 19" monitor but it's for a Mac but I don't know if it can be adapted to connect up to a standard PC?

:thanks

We used to have to buy special adapters to make NORMAL screens work on a MAC computer. They *might* sell the REVERSE, which would be an adapter to convert NORMAL computer to MAC.

If it has DVI, you could go buy an ew video card with DVI outputs and just be done with it.

Is it a 19" Flat Panel LCD because thats the DVI connection, its a digital connection instead of the older analog VGA connection. All new LCD's have them. All new high end video cards use them now instead of the older 15 pin VGA plug, and almost every video card out now has one DVI plug on it.

Yup CRT. I have two 17" and one 18" flat panel and they are great but the monitor I use for my main computer is a 22 inch Mitsubishi Diamond Pro CRT, picture is beautiful and it can not be beat for gaming, BUT it weighs almost 80 pounds! I have to reinforce the shelf it sits on on my desk because after a couple months it had a nice sag to it.
