My truck is wandering a bit so I had the kid turn the steering wheel back and forth and it appears that the lower steering knuckles are loose. The top bolt/nut part does not turn but all of the bottom part that is visible appears to be turning in the hole. Also, the on the left appears to have a noticeably less amount of bolt above the nut.

Does this happen? What size are those nuts?

Thanks

It sounds like it's time for some new ball joints. I just put new hub assemblies and ball joints on mine. It's a slow task, even with air tools and a 20 ton press. It drives so much better though. Jack your front axle up so one sides tire is off the ground. Grab it and see if you can feel it moving at all. Have someone watch to see what is actually loose. It's either the ball joints or the hub bearings.

I just replaced the hub bearings and steering ball joints.

Also it was toed out so I had it aligned and now it is worse.

The did have the tires up to 70psi in the rear which always makes it drive like crap.

I notice my VelvetRide shackles have appeared to let go as well. The center is ripped out on the lower part.
