Little Help

I'm having a little trouble with my 01 350 7.3. First it died and would restart but only run for about 3 to 5 minutes, I replaced the CPS and the fuel pump and now it won't start at all. I'm at a loss so any help would be greatly appreciated. :

The symtoms you discribe sound like the cps. Did you replace the fuel pump at the same time as the cps???

After replacing the fuel pump did you do anything to purge the system of air???

I gotta agree with Tbar on this one... if it would start & run, now it won't start, you need to look at one or both the parts you replaced.

Did you get the polarity on the lift pump correct? I've seen "universal" ones (universal means it doesn't fit a damn thing) without a connector and guys will reverse the polarity so it runs backwards and puts fuel back in the tank...

Thanks for the responces guys, I did replace both parts at the same time and I will recheck the pump to ensure I got the polarity correct but I'm pretty sure thats not it because I had fuel coming out of the fuel filter lid when I tested it. I can't find anything on purging the system and I haven't done anything to do that so I'll try to find something on that next.

What's the oil level? Is it throwing a SES light?
