Here's the text for another WIKI article I wrote:
Installing A Replacement Leaf Spring Frontend Leveling Kit
1) Buy the leveling kit. I went with a Revtek kit, since it uses a completely new leaf spring pack vs. an add-a-leaf or mini spring pack add-on. Additionally, the Revtek kit includes a trackbar relocation bracket to level the trackbar and minimize bumpsteer.
2) Put the parts in the backseat of your truck (the springs will fit quite nicely on the floor).
3) Drive to the local diesel shop. We're fortunate in Cheyenne to have a AWESOME local-owned/independant garage that does all kinds of work, not just engine stuff.
4) Write them a check.
5) Walk home.
6) Have the shop send their courtesy van to pick you up when they're done.
7) Drive home.
8) Step back and admire the new look of your truck--you're done!
When it's warm enough to wash my truck I'll take some pics and post 'em but currently it's waaaaaaaaaay to filthy to display in public.
