Killer deal on oil filters

I just received two Donaldson P550528 Oil filters for the price of ZERO.
(My brother owns the store).

Well Doug, lets see;

Redding Ca. to Arkansas equals about 2000 miles.... @ 13.1 mpg,,,, @ $3.50 per gallon,,, Plus all the stops for hamburgers for Luke "dog",,, the old filters could get expensive.


I could bring a couple extra oil and fuel filters with us on our trip. I'll check to see what price is his best price to site members.

I have been talking to my brother about prices for the 6.0, so I will call him tomorrow about the 7.3 I know he stocks the filters for the 7.3 because he owns a 2001 F250 with a 7.3 engine. Yes, you could pick them up in Redding.
I am assuming you are traveling here, or have friends here. Texas to Redding is a good stretch of the legs.

I wish our 6.0 engines had cheap filters like the 7.3
I just got off the phone from my brother, and he said that the Oil filters for the 7.3 would be $7.50 each. We got interrupted before he could tell me about the fuel filters. Air filters are $8.25 for the 7.3

Local parts stores (Napa) has the 6.0 air filter at $68.80, oil at $27.76 and fuel at $76.34 "what a rip off"

I agree with you on the 6.0 filters... I purchase mine from my brothers store, so I get very good pricing.

One thing about good prices is that I also look for a quality item. I don't know lately, but years ago, I cut some oil filters, Fram, Motorcraft, Baldwin and napa filter in half to see what the quality was on them. They were filters for a Ford 428 SCJ engine. I found that Motorcraft and Baldwin were much better filters then. I would rather pay more money for quality parts like Air, Oil, and fuel filters.
For our 6.0 engines, I like Donaldson and Motorcraft. I am sure others might like something else.

yep the kids live in Loma Rica Ca .... then its not so far to Redding

id be interested in the price for the fuel filters and the Donaldson AIS filter if its possible to get those prices too.

Then just let you know when we will be in the area.. ? im thinking now some time in March 08

How good are Amsoil filters? I run the oil and air filter,they are rather expensive....
