K&N is in!!

Dont put it, buy an open intake filter like TYMAR, or DIY.

Yeah what he said. The K&N filters don't offer enough engine protection, they let dirt through.

I would agree with Crumm. I had a K&N filter on my '93 IDI and you could feel the "dust" inside of the air filter housing. The filter does not filter down to the level that you want for a modern (or any) engine. I removed it quick.

K&N filters are designed for High HP race cars. not daily driver street trucks. Do yourself a favor, put it back in the box, take it back and get a quality paper filter.
