Evidently their dedication to a diesel Liberty wasn't too hot. They offered a product in haste to demand for more fuel efficient vehicles without considering the future. Everyone has known for a long time that the emissions regulations were going to get stiffer for 2007. Guess Bill Engvall needs to say "Here's your sign!!!"

oh you mean like chevy with the 6.2 (early 80) and the old 350 gasser turned oil burner during our last oil crisis(74 ish something or other.)

just doenst make sense does it.
at least the commander will take advantage of the daimler engine technology.

This is what Dodge is probably going to do for their Diesel Engine (well, at least this is the rumor) :dunno
