I don't wanna go SVO/WVO yet, so I'm wondering would it hurt anything or would I have to do any modifications to run a 40/60 mix of veggie oil(40) and regular diesel fuel(60). I know in the winter time that heavy of a mix might be an issue but its summertime right now

Nope, shouldnt present a problem, make sure if its WVO that it is filtered very well. And as you already noted, you wont be able to get away with that high of a ratio in the colder months.

Sounds good to me :) I won't have a problem filtering WVO because I have full access to a racor 1000 diesel fuel filter/water separator

I have been running WVO for over 2 years, there is alot more to filtering then running it thru a Racor 1000 filter. Dewatering is a process not to be confused with a water blocking fuel filter.
