Let me put it this way.
The only two things left from my Banks Stinger kit are the Big Head waste gate actuator and the exhaust system. I just replaced the Banks gauges, the Banks computer chip was removed last fall in favor of a DP-Tuner programed PCM. The K&N filter that came with the Banks kit has been replaced with an AIS system w/ the foam fender sleeve.
The Banks 3 1/2" exhaust will soon be replaced by the brand new MBRP 4" now in my garage. Once the Banks exhaust is removed I plan on taking pics to show everyone how poorly a Banks system stands up over time. The Big Head actuator is the only thing worth retaining.
You want advice? Get a good exhaust like a MBRP or Hog, get a DP-Tuner flip chip, an AIS or decent open element intake system. It'll run circles around anything you can get from Banks. Use the money you'll have left over and put it towards a 6.0 intercooler, ball bearing or HTPS turbo or some Bean's Single shot injectors.
You can pay for a name and over-rated stuff, or pay for stuff from people from who have built a reputation the hard way, by way of satisfied, devoted customers.
