anybody have an idea if one can screw in too the head liner and it will hold a 1-1.5 pounds object

Are you talking about adding a DVD screen. If so, I removed the interior dome light and secured my dvd/10.5" screen to the reinforcement located there.

I don't think the head liner itself will hold the weight. You'd have to screw into the cab itself. There should be 2 layers of metal on top. You might be able to see if you remove your dome light assy. My guess is that you'd have to get some short sheet metal screws and go through the bottom layer. But be sure to check everything several times before. Wouldn't want you to put a screw hole in your roof.
