Interior light problem?

Sometimes, when I stop the truck, my interior light will come on and then turn off after I speed up to over 15 mph. It only seems to happen after I drive up my buddy's driveway, drop him off, then it doesn't shut off the whole way backing down the driveway, only when I go forward over 15 mph for the first few stopsigns. Then I drive about 10 minutes, stop at a light, it doesn't do it. I explained all that to not lead y'all to believe it's my buddy's fault, but somehow my passenger door turning the light on is somehow in conjunction with the VCS...maybe I'm reading too far into this.
Anyone have this problem or having trouble understanding me?

door ajar switch, most likely on the pass side...

hose it down with WD40 like Rooster said, or just put in another one... they're only about 15 bucks...

oops... our bad....

inside the door, bottom side of the latch... that's why Roosterdiesel said
If so soak the latches in the door with WD40.

the WD40 will run down into the latch and end up dripping off the switch...

pour it in there till it's running out of the bottom of the door and you hear a sloshing noise when you turn corners...

The door ajar switch is not lit. Why would it shut off above 10 mph and turn back on when I slow below 10 mph? An internal override?
