As you can see from my picture of my factory diff cover, there is a flat area just below the fill port, that looks perfect for a temp sensor. this would require a new three hole a-pillar mount,
now my big question from you guys with mag hytek covers, whats your temp range on the sender?

did you catch BIG JOE's thread on switches?

robt-
you did see this thread right? http://www.superdutydiesel.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4869

as long as you get multiple senders of the same range, then you should be able to gang them up BIG JOE style. i think joe said 120F on the diff. w/mag cover.

that being said, i would be concerned about the resolution on the gauge. so if joe's observation is right, you are reading on the low end of the scale, i would be concerned about error induced reading at the low end.

who is your gauge manuf? I think you are limited to the temp sender- most are 100-240 for electric temperature.

i would PM Micheal - he is new here on the boards and is an engineer type at ISSPRO. http://www.superdutydiesel.com/forums/member.php?u=2057
