injector scored?

now i dont know much about injectors, but if anybody here knows about them- the rebuilding process, whywould a company reject a core injector from a truck for.
what would cause a injector to be none rebuildable?

i havent pulled mine yet but it was a question posted on a alt fuel site.

If the core is damaged, like the engine block is damaged, they would not accept it fir rebuild. The barrel could be scored and that would prevent them from using it.
