I am so tired of getting screwed by manufacturers. We ordered a new treadmill for Rachel from ProForm. The last was worn out. We ordered the top of the line, with "I-Fit" compatability, (hook it up to the internet and to IFit.com, gives you more programs and options). That's what our last "top of the line" from them had. Searched their site, picked one, ordered, finally got it today, no connection for the computer. Go to the site, the model is not listed any more. -mad No information in manual.

What the hell is the consumer supposed to do? Thank God I purchased it with American Express. Waiting for a return email from what I sent, mean while, Amex has been informed.

Why do we buy anything anymore? It's like flipping a coin on what you actually get.

Sorry, just pissed! -mad

Customer Service is a dead art....

Items are now DESIGNED to fail so you have to buy another...

We were just talking about that this morning while waiting in the Doctors office @ 11:00 for my 9:15 appointment !!!!:(

Must be nice to have ALL that business so you can treat customers that way !!!

Took a tire into the tire shop yesterday afternoon, said tire was already off truck. Asked if one of the tire jockeys could fix said tire. Tire shop pencil pusher says "sure, no problem, do you want it mounted back on truck?" I say, "yeah, that'd be real nice." Tire shop pencil pusher says, "we can do that, bout half an hour, you gonna wait or?" I says............. "Imma wait here if its only to be half an hour." Tire shop has 6 tire jockeys working(?) in bays, one 1/2 ton Dodge truck in there getting a new set of shiney things hooked to the axles. NOBODY is working on the Dodge, matter of fact, NOBODY is working on anything................. 1.5 hours later I finally have had enuf and walk out into bays and find my flat repaired, other three rotated and the spare laying on the ground behind the truck and a 19 year old Jr. Tire Jockey standing there looking at me like I was going to lay him over my knee and he says to me "sorry its taking so long sir, I didnt know I was going to have to rotate these wheels ALL BY MYSELF, and now I'm having troubles getting your spare up under the truck again." So I had to help Jr tire jockey put the spare under the truck and remind him that the flat he fixed (actually, one of the Sr. tire jockeys fixed said flat, Jr was incharge of the rotate job) looked flat still. Punks only had 40 lbs in the tire.

Customer service is not a dead art, its completely non-existant.

my buddy and me went to go to a local place to get his oil changed in his 01 dodge dakota and were the ONLY people there and they say oh it should only be about 30 minutes. We waited f-ing 2 1/2 hours for an oil change, makes me wonder if they just sit there and play with themselves or try to figure out how to screw you over. Then they came back and told him that he had about 1200 dollars in damage and that he should fix it, and of course we didn't because I checked all the stuff and it looked a little worn, like the belts and all that and they were talking about his transmission being worn down and i asked how would they know if they didnt drive it, they came back with well sir we opened up the transmission and looked at the gears and they're worn down, then i go, we've been waiting here for 2 1/2 hours so that you could inspect his truck so that you could come up with these BS charges? They brought the price down from $30 to $20 because we (I) were unsatisfied.

I told him I'll teach him how to do it himself

At the tire shop I use I got 4 new tires mounted, balanced, in and out in under 30 minutes. These guys are like a NASCAR pitcrew. The whole vehicle is in the air. All they use are floor jacks. I took my old truck there with a screw in the tire. asked to have it fixed. The tire was still on the truck. In and out in 10 minutes. Their places are atleast $20 cheeper thatn other places also.
