When I got home from work yesterday, Mrs. TG showed me something that came in the mail from our older daughter. It was a picture with a poem on it that reads:
Twenty-six years ago
You were blessed with a special treat
With brown hair & blue eyes
Hot dogs were her favorite treat.
The years have come and gone,
Time is a thing we can't defeat.
Winter is just around the corner
And in the spring you will meet....
A tiny individual,
With soft skin, tiny hands and little feet.
A grandchild I am hoping
Will make your lives complete.
At first, the wife & I just looked at each other in disbelief, thinking does this mean what it appears to? We had to call just to make sure, and sure enough, come April, I'll be Grandpa Tail Gunner.
I've been missing the the days when our kids were little, teaching them how to shoot the paper wrapper on a drinking straw at Momma and then eating Jello with the same straw. 
I can't wait!!!
In the meantime,
(4-0) vs 
(1-3) at Lambeau Field, tonight on Sunday night football.
There's nothing quite like watching your team at home in the most storied stadium in the NFL, kick the stuffing outta a divisional rival.
I know where I'll be. -popcorn -popcorn
