I know there are some Mazda guys on here, but I can't remember who.

Found one on ebay for 29.90, but this is for my niece's car and she has a very limited budget.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is just a cover up. I am sure Bama has been sitting at home bored and is now inventing some new intake for his rig. :lmao:lmao

HAHA Sorry Bama but when I saw the Title that was the first thing that came to mind is what is he doing now.

seems to be a reasonable deal, check rockauto.com to see if delivered price is any cheaper than the ebay seller.

$29.90 is pretty cheap to fix a car.

Well, my BIL went ahead and got one and the local Mazda dealer for about 47.00.

That is about 10.00 more than what the ebay deal would have been, but with not wait.

I was just trying to help out and see if there might be one out there cheaper.

CarQuest recently purchased WorldParts, Inc out of Pittsburgh. Most of the stuff is the actual OE part.

Other way to do it, is call NAPA and give them the Dorman number to cross over.

Thanks for the responses. My Dad & I tried to tell my BIL that just buying it from the dealer was gonna be the quickest and best way to go about it, but he felt like he might be able to get it cheaper from a junk yard. Most of the time, a junk yard wants more money than if you just go new.

on stuff like that the junk yard is not even worth looking at, if the rubber intake hose is failing on your car then it is a matter of time before the acceptable one you find in the junkyard fails too.
