What a sorry SOB. I don't care what anyone says, this kind of pay for a company gushing money like a fire hose is inexcusable. It is insulting to the workers and it is insulting to the consumers being asked to pay over $60,000 for a damn truck. The board of misdirectors should be collectively shot for approving such a "deal."

aricle was just updated... now it is closer to $10 million per MONTH last year.

Sure, I would like that kind of pay but when the company is losing money in the BILLIONS in one year I fail to see any justification for his compensation. If he can turn the company around, great, pay him. At least, however, let's wait to see if he really can before we give him the keys to the vault.

If I remember correctly, Lee Iacocca either refused his salary as CEO of Chrysler, or only took $1.00 per year until they got out of their "financial hole". Seems as though Mulally and others should do the same.
