You guys been having unseasonably warm weather?

We have had the warmest fall I can ever remember in my 12 years here in Alaska. It is currently 30 degrees and snowing. We should have had temperatures approaching Zero by now but I don't think we have made it very far down into the 20's yet. Until it started snowing last night we still had a green lawn, won't see the lawn again until spring but my last vision was Green. This snow storm is only the second one of the season although it is suppose to snow for a week. I know it will be -40 before I know it but this weather is very enjoyable at the moment. Thinking about taking the boat for a spin today if I can find my tire chains. I don't think sliding into the river would be a good thing..

we've been having great weather. High today was a sunny 58 with predicted low of 35 tonight. Actually supposed to warm a little as the week goes. My kind of fall!

Weather in KY has been cooler than normal. We had the wettest September on record, and my crawl space is proof. A nice climate summary is at this location:

It says it will be cooler than normal east of the Rockies, and warmer along the Pacific. I guess you get to be on the right side of that equation. Still, at 32F tonight, it will probably seem warm to you!

wow crumm, sounds like your sweatin in that sultry heat there man LOL.

i wish it would snow here in bamaland just once in my lifetime like you get up there in AK.

it is supposed to be chilli here this coming week, it rained almost all of last week.

so i guess i would say we are right on target for our normal weather patterns.

It's been up and down here supposed to be goin down further though...we have already had snow flurries here a couple of times, no accum. though.
37* w/31* windchill here, at 9:05 pm estsnow for the next 3 days or so...

Just got done plowing out the driveway. Didn't really need to plow as there was only about 3" but I wanted to try out my new Warn plow on my Honda Rubicon Poor old 75' F250 plow truck was looking kinda lonely though..

October is our indian summer. We've had awesome weather this past week. Highs in the lower 80s with crystal clear nights about 45*. Too bad it won't last. I heard from a friend that an el nino is expected this winter.
