Adjusting the Parking brake is a can-do:sweet

(1)Chock the front wheels(forward and aft) raise the rear tires off the road surface, place rear axle on jack stands.
(2)Remove the Tire/wheels(can be done with on but easier off)
(3)Remove the brake adjusting hole cover from the backing plate.
(4)Turn the brake adjuster screw to expand the parking brake shoe and linings until they drag against the rotor.
(5)Back off the brake adjuster screw until no drag is evident

what bill said.
but one caveat, iffin its a real (truck) wide bottom girl :D
you can leave the wheels on. there is plenty of room and it makes it easier to check for drag

ALSO now is a good time to inspect the cable all the way back up to the cabin. there are a few areas it likes to chaff on the frame and rubber brake lines.

Would be a good time to hit the contact points of the cable from front to back with some silicone spray/lubricant to facilitate smoother actuation of the parking brake too :sweet
