How many amps to charge?

Both of my batteries ran down over night. I have one charger that is 12V and will do 2, 10, and 50 amps. I have both batteries disconnected from the truck. I have the charger hooked to one battery and jumper cables connected the two batteries. My question is: Should I charge them on 2 amps or 10 amps all night? I plan on leaving them on charge until tomorrow morning. Thank you for the input.

Slow charging batteries on 2 amp is best, But if your doing it over night just run on 10 amps. But you need to test the batt's. you most likely have one on it's way out and will kill the other batt.

Just checked both batteries a few weeks ago. They both checked good. The alternator (including the diodes) and starter checked good as well. Thanks for the input. I will leave the batteries on 10 amp overnight and will probably have the batteries rechecked away.

Yeah, either do that, or...

let them sit for a couple hours not hooked to each other..
then put a voltmeter across them..
the one with the lower open-circuit voltage is likely bunk..
