The title says it. Actually I'm in North San Diego county and I need an honest mechanic. My trans is probablly gone and this is my work truck. Any help would be great.

Best help I can offer you is that I've heard great things about John Woods & his transmissions though he's about 100 miles away from you in Holtville but he may be able to offer some suggestions for self diagnosis or maybe a shop that he works with in the area.
