EBPV (Exhaust Back Pressure Valve) is closing. Does it quit once the engine is up to operating temperature? If so then it is operating properly. If it continues to close once the engine is up to temp then you need to do a little maintenance on it. Usually malfunction is caused by a plugged sensor tube.

Glad that you posted that. Mine was doing the same thing the other day when it was really cold outside. Thought that was what is was going to be.

I had that same problem... The tube was rusted completly through, so I replaced it and the sensor, Mine still does it almost all the time when its cold. I ended up just disconnecting the sensor during the winter months and I now have no problems. I tried to buy some kind of "sensor delete" mod from some company for like $20.00 but that did nothing for me.

Hey Crusin350
Did you notice any down side to unplug the sensor
I changed the sensor in the summer time but didn't clean the tube
I think for now I will unplug the sensor
Thanks Crusin350
