High fuel prices here to stay but I have good news.

Fueled up last night locally and to my surprise the pump did not shut off at $75.00. I have been getting annoyed by there $75 authorization limit when you put your credit card in the pump but I guess they finally decided to raise the limit. I don't know how high they go now but I filled up for a total of $85 without having to restart the pump. They turn up your authorization limit too?

Figured I might as well look at the bright side of $3.25 a gallon fuel.

I still occasionally run into a station that stops @ $50. Always fun when you need to run the card through 3 times to fill it.

In Jersey its the ONLY fuel you are allowed to pump yourself. I usually do Hess or Gulf and you just pump till its full. Then rock the bed a few times and get another 4-5 gallons in.

Many stations around CenCal have raised their Card limits to $100.00 also. But the thing I Don't understand is...

There can be up to a .15 cent, per gallon difference in price at 2 stations..... across the road from each other..Yet both stations are equally as busy.

I don't git it.
