I was kicking the tires and looking over my truck last week and I noticed that on the passenger side headlamp above the HID bi-xenon bulb was a black mark (inside the headlamp lens assy). Closer inspection showed the bulb itself was partially backed out of the lens, canted upward, and I guess had been scorching the lens.

I poked it back in, but I notice that the whole interior of that lens is sort of foggy compared with the driver side lens, so it is probably diffusing the beam pattern. The bulb seems to function ok still.

Pretty weird, I imagine that I hadn't seated it properly and with all the bumps and potholes, it worked its way out.

Where can I get a replacement lens?

That happened to me after I had the headlight assembly replaced on warranty. I went back to the stealership and fought with them until they replaced the whole headlight assembly, but they wouldn't replace the hid bulb. I am not positive but I believe you have to buy a complete headlight assembly, the lens can't be replaced.

you can't get just the lens, you need to buy a whole pod..

but a dealer parts dept is the last place I'd call..

I'd start with the local boneyards...
