terrible weather limited the scare factor....

Not wanting to bust in, but that brings back some great memories for me too. I was stationed at Barksdale AFB for my last year and a half before I got out of the Air Force (circa 1982 - 1983). Great pics!

I don't/didn't want to either, but as an aviation "appreciator," if you listed "junk," "ok," "good," and "great" aircraft, the B-52 would be on the "great" list.

I have flown most of the BUFF's there at some point or another. I miss it dearly.
