so who's the Dutchman? Uncle Dode used to ice fish in wooden shoes. They were less slippery on the ice, and were a better cold barrier than felt.

Looks good Robert. However I thought OSB was what we used to call particleboard.

nope particle board is particles of wood stuff (dust)glued to togteher, very heavy , hates mostiure, cant nail into it very well, and did i say HEAVY :D

OSB is stranded bits of wood stuff, glued and pressed under immense pressure
tolerates mositure,(used for roof decking under tar paper) engineered strenght, drills and screws well, not very heavy..my old crippled tail moved it all :hail

jl- i like the term THRIFTY.....panelling was 52 a sheet osb was 9, left money over for BEAM and stuff:roflmao

I wasn't hassling you over your wall material, I saw the wooden shows on the shelf, and being of Dutch decent myself, was curious..

and I'll have a shot or two of Beam if you're pouring...

no hassle taken, thanks for a callout, good eye ;) i forgot all about them wooden things, sis went there once when i was a lil person,
beam is always on tap here.

i aquired an old LAB bench made from maple laminated stock, so i cut it down to 2x2 and routed a thin slit for the glass to sit in, drill two small holes for screws the go in then the glass and shazam its a floater.
i ran out of glass, they are a big hit with the wife she want more of em around the shack.

silverstroke, lowes in lindale, they call me robert when i walk in :thumbs
i got to stp going there.

a few more before and afters, we have only a small bit of finish trim to complete, and i be DONE as a steak
