Just got my copy of "The Complete Illustrated Guide to Finishing" from the ole UPS truck a couple of hours ago -

Damn good recommendation there

This guy gets into some great detail - using a lot of basic stuff - and got pictures too!

Beats the hell out of the books that I had.

You're welcome. In fact, the whole library of "The Complete Illustrated Guide to ........" from Taunton is a worthy purchase. I've got most of the books (missing a few that I can't justify buying yet) and they've paid for themself a couple times over.
