I live in Florida and dealers aren't allowed to adjust warranty costs.... So I get a set price. :) Thanks for the offer though. Can it be put on a 6.0L?

Your set price will be about 2500.00 dollars / I checked with my dealer in north florida.

2500 buys plenty o fuel, or better still INTEREST in the bank...
i figure if i havent had a major <costly> failure in 5y/100k than
2 more years isnt gonna do much more than make the dealer

It will take a long time for my dealer to get rich with a $150.00 markup and the first turbo out of warranty will cost as much as the warranty, plus no more $100.00 co-pays,has some rental & travel expenses covered.

and I'm not sure but I think the cost is determined by where you buy it not whrere you live so if you live in fla. & bought it in kentucky it's still $1475.00
but you would have to call him and see

interesting that the 7/200k is CHEAPER than a full <no deduct> coverage
5/100k...makes me wonder if you have to buy BOTH.

as for the cost of repairs...no doubt it wouldnt take much to reach
1400 bucks AT THE DEALER....at the same time it sounds like your
counting on the turbo to go.

its still not smart money.

Turbo should be less than $2500.00....Only paid $2200 for one on Detroit Series 60...Just drivre it and fix what breaks.
