I learned when I was little that if someone never shows you their butt, it is a really ugly butt.

I wonder what size diesel their going to put in there, and who's going to make it.

Whatever displacement or how many pistons it has for any diesel they put into the new F-150, I'd be surprised if it said International/ Navistar anywhere on it. With all the bad blood lately between Ford & International, I think that partnership is on it's last legs.

There has been some talk of a pretty decent diesel Ford has been using in Range Rovers in the European market. Supposedly it gets some outstanding mpg for a diesel.

I have to wonder if the trucks capability has been improved as well. It could use some guts.

the V8 and V6 are the result of work rover did with perkins long before the buyout. the rover V8 is a pig, it is only like 250Hp & 500 ft-lbs of torque for a 4L V8?

the I6 diesel they used was actually a BMW motor

the 3.8 would be sweet in a ranger or explorer, but not a F series platform.

neither of those would do well here, our market is so HP/Tq crazy, it would never sell after people would complain that the vehicles were pigs and could not get out of their own way.
